Parmigiano Reggiano is a hard Italian cheese that has been produced for centuries in the regions of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna, and Mantua. Made from cow’s milk, this cheese matures for at least 12 months (often up to 36 months), which gives it a rich, nutty, and full flavor that deepens with age.
